Born in Taipei, GUO Shang-Sing directs, writes and acts for both film and theatre. An alumnus of Berlinale Talents and NYU Graduate Film program, he is better known for directing Kong Peh Tshat or: How I Learned to Tell a Lie (2012), that received Taiwan Domestic Motion Pictures Guidance Fund, won Jury Special Mention in Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and Carta Giovani Award in Sardinia Film Festival and traveled to a dozen of festivals including Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
